WELCOME TO 
PINATAS IN THE BARRIO
in its 12th year as an Official Fiesta San Antonio Event, is sponsored by Texas
Community Health Network in conjunction with Avenida Guadalupe Association.
This event will feature live entertainment, delicious food, and fun for the
whole family, but 2007 will prove to be a spectacular year with the unveiling
of "The Barrios Largest Piñata". This San Antonio record sized Piñata will provide
Senior Citizens and Youths the opportunity to participate in the raising and
pulling of strings every hour for prizes. "Miss Fiesta Senior Queen", Miss Piñatas
in the Barrio Princess" will also be crowned this day and will participate in
the Fiesta Flambeau Parade.
